I found a lot of agave seeds on my walk. I grabbed a handful today. I think maybe I should collect some more. I will plant them today and hope that I will get some seedlings….Maybe I should research how easy/difficult it is to get these guys going.

My Phalaenopsis orchid finally bloomed. It went through quite a bit. I think at it’s worst it only had one root that was about a quarter inch. It was bad, but now it is healthy enough for it to bloom. Yay!

I think the colors are pretty accurate. It has pink veins with a kind of yellow/cream petal. It is nothing spectacular, but I enjoy it.

My new additions. I got them on clearance at Lowes for $9.24 each. It’s not a great “clearance” price, but I like them.

My friend and I go on walks. We have seen these pretty trees that have fragrant purple flowers in the Spring. I had come across them online so I knew what they were called. In the Winter, I decided to grab some seeds that had littered our path. I planted the seeds, and kept them very moist. A couple of weeks ago, I got my first little sprout. This is what it looks like today.

I saw this rose and I thought it was so pretty. It is a Charisma floribunda rose. The flowers are very interesting. They have red, orange and a little bit of yellow. The colors from rose to rose vary.

I got this Hydrangea last Spring. It had died back completely, but I watered and watered it, and now look at it. It even has little buds.

So, it’s basically the same bloom type, but two flowers opened up together. You can kind of see where the last one closed up. This little guy is still outside enjoying the sunshine.

Last year I cheated and bought an already blooming Plumeria from The Home Depot. It was a white no name Plumeria. This Spring my boyfriend detected the inflo. I have to admit, I had not checked for it since it just bloomed last year in Summer or early Fall.

I bought this little guy as a small corm (maybe 1 1/2 inches wide) at our local Tucson Kmart (from the produce section). It has finally put out some nice little leaves. I think I like it so far.
